The Healthiest Martini You Will Likely Ever Try!

Patio season is synonymous with barbecues and enjoying a beverage with friends. For this month's recipe we've decided to include a beverage that will add a little sophistication, flavour and nutrition to your get-together.

Red Spicy-Tini
  • 1½ cup pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • ¼ cup black cherry juice
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • splash of fresh ginger juice and/or lime juice
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
In a martini shaker, pour all the ingredients except the cinnamon sticks over ice and shake or stir very well to chill. Strain and pour into martini glasses and garnish with cinnamon sticks.

You'll notice that there is no alcohol in this recipe. It is delicious, nutritious and can stand alone. If all of your guests who are enjoying this beverage are of legal age and will not be driving, ¾ cup of Sake will give this beverage the bite your guests are looking for in a patio beverage. Sake also happens to be rich in amino acids and naturally occurring carbohydrates.
